šÆĀ Aim:Ā To find and elevate ambitious early-stage startups and startup teams building scalable business ideas. The program is designed to help promising teams sharpen their message, receive expert feedback from experienced judges, and seamlessly plug into the Nordic startup ecosystem.

Problem over Perfection:Ā They are not looking for a flawless, fully funded company. The focus is on teams solving a real, meaningful problem with a clear target customer and the ambition to grow beyond a small local project.

Target Group:Ā Early-stage startups, startup teams preparing for launch/validation, research-based teams commercializing an innovation, or highly ambitious student-led teams.
Geographic Requirement:Ā Open to everyone! You do not need to be based in Kuopio or Finland to apply. However, selected teams must be able to travel and pitch live in person.
Readiness:Ā You don't need a perfect pitch deck to apply, but you must be able to clearly articulate your problem, target customer, solution, and why your team can pull it off.
Language:Ā Pitches and event communications are entirely in English. The application is 100% free of charge.
š Ā Deadline:Ā July 1, 2026. (Selected finalists will be notified by August 1, 2026).
š¤Ā Live Pitch (Finals):
Application Phase:Ā Submit a short, clear description of your startup through the online application portal before the July 1 deadline.
The Big Stage:Ā The live finals take place on August 18, 2026, at the Savonia UAS KampussydƤn (Microkatu campus) in Kuopio, Finland.
Pitch Format:Ā A crisp and highly focused formatāa 3-minute pitch followed by 3 minutes of Q&A and direct feedback from the expert investor jury.
