šÆ Aim: Munich is searching for the "Smart City" solutions of tomorrow. The goal is to connect startups, students, and creative minds directly with the city administration to solve real urban challenges through tangible innovations and prototypes.
š Organizer: City of Munich, Department of Labor and Economic Development.
šÆ Focus: The competition is challenge-based. Solutions are sought for 5 specific thematic areas:
TreeQuest: Crowdsourced geodata collection for city trees (including gamification/educational aspects).
Wastewater Visibility: Innovative communication and visualization of the urban wastewater system.
Sewer Network Check: AI/Tech for the analysis of shaft data and underground structures.
AI-Knowledge Agent: An autonomous AI agent for the administration (going far beyond simple chatbots).
Ćkoprofit 2.0: AI-supported environmental consulting for Munich-based businesses.

ā¬10,000 Innovation Prize: For each winning team (per challenge). Paid out in two phases (after the award ceremony & after the co-creation phase).
