Hello {{first_name}}!
While the average founder hopes to eventually be offered a seat at the table, the true architects of tomorrow's Afro-diasporic economy are already positioning themselves on their own stage. True scale isnāt found in endlessly chasing VC meetings within networks that, historically, were not built for us. It is found in securing strategic access to concentrated visibility, real decision-makers, and tangible, structural capital.
This is the essence of the AiDiA Pitch 2026. This isnāt just another "startup competition"āit is a Strategic Beachheadand the absolute epicenter of Black Excellence in the German-speaking startup ecosystem.
In a landscape that often merely philosophizes about diversity, AiDiA creates hard facts and true entrepreneurial sovereignty. It offers a surgical injection of up to ā¬30,000 in pure, equity-free cash and over ā¬150,000 in strategic infrastructure. Itās about arming your technical vision with the power of a top-tier business network, all while keeping 100% of your equity and absolute control over your cap table.
The Application Deadline is April 19th. This is the moment to stop bootstrapping in the shadows and start architecting your empire in the spotlight of the strongest community in the country.

š Name of the Competition: AiDiA Pitch 2026 (as part of the AiDiA Business & Culture Fest)
šÆ Aim: AiDiA is the first and largest pitch event for Black and Afro-German founders. The goal is to provide visibility to Afro-diasporic talent, support them on their entrepreneurial journey, and connect them with investors and a strong business network on a major stage.
š Organizer: AiDiA (created in collaboration with the non-profit organization FoG Germany e.V. / FoGG).
šÆ Focus: The competition is sector-agnostic. Startups are evaluated based on their degree of innovation, economic viability, founder personality, and creativity. There are two main tracks:
Idea Pitch: For promising and innovative business ideas (no official company registration required yet).
Founder Pitch: For already established startups looking to scale.
šø Prize Fund:
Up to ā¬30,000 Prize Money: For the winning teams in the "Founder Pitch" for direct business development.
Up to ā¬2,000 Prize Money: For outstanding concepts in the "Idea Pitch."

ā Who can apply?
Afro-German / Black Founders: The main prerequisite is that at least one (co-)founder on the team has an Afro-diasporic/Afro-German background.
Company Stage: Open to all phases ā from a raw conceptual idea to a startup already established on the market.
Commitment: Selected teams must be ready to complete a 12-week preparation program starting in June (the "AiDiA Rise Program").
š Deadline: April 19, 2026. (Pre-selections / pre-pitches take place in May!)
š¤ Live Pitch (Finals):
Selection: After a pre-selection and the pre-pitch phase, the best teams qualify for the finals. One additional team can secure a spot via a "Golden Ticket" social media wildcard.
Pitching: The finalists pitch live on the main stage during the "AiDiA Pitch Night."
Event Date: September 4ā5, 2026 (Pitch finals are on September 5).
Venue: AiDiA Business & Culture Fest.
š Location: Hamburg, Germany.
š” My Comment: For Afro-German and Black founders, this is an absolutely unique opportunity in the DACH region. This isn't just about the prize money (though up to ā¬30k is a massive boost)āitās primarily about visibility, representation, and the network. The 12-week mentoring program (AiDiA Rise) and the ā¬150,000+ in in-kind prizes will actively elevate your business before you even step onto the big stage. If you have even just a smart concept, try the Idea Pitch; if you've already launched, go hard in the Founder Pitch. An absolute no-brainer! ššāš¾
An experiment to skip the application grind (first one is free)
Iāll be honest: I hate applying to pitch competitions. Clicking blindly through endless Typeforms without knowing the questions in advance is exhausting and wastes so much time.
So I decided to fix it. Iām testing a new concept for the community: reverse-engineering these applications so you can bypass the stress.
For the upcoming AiDiA Pitch 2026 (which has a ā¬30k prize pool), I dug into their form's backend. I extracted all the hidden questions, logic jumps, and strict jury criteria, and turned them into one tailored Master Prompt.
You just paste this prompt into ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini, upload your pitch deck, and let the AI draft your application. It ensures you hit every single character limit and actually answer what the jury wants to hear.
I plan to sell these "Prep-Kits" as small digital products in the future, but since this is my MVP, I'm giving this first one away completely for free for you :-)
If AiDiA is a fit for your startup, grab the PDF below, get your weekend back, and please hit reply to let me know if it actually saved you time!
